Honey bee in-vitro larvae test Possible adverse effects of pesticides to honeybee-brood (Apis mellifera L.) can be assessed in the laboratory by our new in-vitro larvae test. The bees are raised using an artificial diet, to which a test item is added in order to study the chronic and acute toxicity of a test item.
