We are conducting all studies required by the Biocidal Products Directive 98/8/EC and in accordance with the data requirements laid down in the Technical Guidance Document to the Biocidal Directive.

• Ecotoxicology: aquatic toxicity to fish, invertebrates, algae and higher aquatic plants, bioconcentration in fish, effects on the microbial activity, higher TIER studies as appropriate and testing of side effects on terrestrial organisms like birds, earthworms, bees, bumble bees and other non-target arthropods

• Physical chemical properties: the complete range of data required for the active substance and biocidal products

• Analysis: development and validation of methods for the determination of actives in soil, water, air and animal and human body fluids and tissues

• Toxicology: all relevant acute, short and long term studies on rats, mice and rabbits

• Environmental fate: biotic (ready and inherent degradation) and abiotic (hydrolysis) degradation in water, photo transformation in water, adsorption/desorption on soil.
