The tests are performed according to EC method C.3/OECD 201. Progress in growth (number of cells, growth rate, yield and biomass) are the observation parameters. The test duration is 72 to 96 hours. The design is static. Analytical control samples are taken from representative concentration levels over the entire test period. Evaluation is performed either by counting the algal cells microscopically or by determination of fluorescence emission. |
